A baby shower is a party held in the run up to the birth usually in the third trimester around 10 weeks before the due date.

The new Mum-to-be, Dad or close friends invite all her family and friends (whether it’s a surprise or not) to an afternoon/morning/early evening party for food, drinks and lots of games!

During the party guests give the expectant mum presents for her and her unborn baby, which are usually opened at the event. Bringing a new life into the world is most certainly worth celebrating, and Events by CJA would love to help you from the start of this new and exciting adventure that you are about to begin!

What better way to get everyone excited about the little bundle of joy on the way. Gender reveal parties require careful planning to be a success. Let us help you reveal the secret by planning out all the details, so you don’t have to!

Gender reveal parties are most commonly hosted by the parents-to-be, since they are the ones choosing to share this momentous occasion with their loved ones. With so much to do, and baby on the way, we can help you make the announcement of your baby’s gender one of the most exciting and memorable of your life.

A gender reveal party can be held in conjunction with a baby shower but is more often a separate event held early on in the pregnancy (gender can be determined at 16-20 weeks). The gender of the baby is kept a secret and is revealed in a creative way at some point in the party. This is usually a co-ed party where both parents, along with family and friends, learn the sex of the baby together. (Usually, gifts are not expected at a gender reveal party).
